Training

Last week I ran over 50 km in total. Training week went as planned. The toughest session was 6 x 1K intervals with 60s rest in between. I always start my sessions too hard and then struggle to keep ut the same pace throughout the session. Well, my pace judgement is not that good just yet and it is still a learning process. I ran the first split too slowly then the second one too quickly while the last 4 splits went better. I have recorded my splits in my logbook and you can also follow my training on Time-to-Run forums.

I had planned running the 8 minute intervals at about 157 bpm pace, just like I ran the last time I did the session. However, I found a nice rhythm at 163 bpm pace and kept it at that throughout the session. The 8 minute intervals have 2 minutes of easy running in between.
